1. Onions
Did you know that if you put a peeled onion next to your
bedside when you have a flu you will wake up feeling way better? Smelly as they
are, onions are known to hold hundreds of health benefits especially when it
comes to fighting disease. These include:
The phytochemicals in onions along with their vitamin C help
improve immunity. They also contain chromium, which assists in regulating blood
sugar.
For centuries, onions have been used to reduce inflammation
and heal infections. Raw onion also lower the production of bad cholesterol
